The focus of this course is to show you how to create simple forms using the potter’s wheel. If you have some experience, join me to learn some tips that will improve your work. I will provide instruction through demonstrations and individual follow up. We will cover wedging techniques, centering the clay, pulling up walls, Cylinders and basic tableware forms. Trimming, Basic decoration techniques and glazing.
COVID-19 STUDIO UPDATE
We will have 3 tables set-up inside and 3 pottery wheels outside under the umbrellas. We will also be checking temperatures before entering the studio so if you feel unwell at all please let us know. Masks are required inside the studio at all times (until further notice) and there is a strict no sharing policy. All students will use the same kit every week which includes: pottery wheel, glazes, tools, and clay.
