Art Summer Camp Week 2- Elements of Art (June 27th - July 1st)

Welcome to Golden Moon Studios, located in downtown San Mateo. We are an artist led art school offering classes, camps, workshops and more.

Sessions Held Monday-Friday, 9:10 am-3:20 pm

Join us for innovative, hands-on, arts activities for children and youth, ages 5 -12. Small class sizes allow us to cater the curriculum based on your child's age.

We offer Summer Art Camps with fun, creative and a variety of engaging projects based on weekly themes in San Mateo for children ages 5-12.  We will explore colors, textures, light, a variety of mediums and materials with hands-on art projects that will excite your child(ren).

Examine the seven elements of art: line, shape, texture, form, space, color, and value with unique art projects while incorporating literacy components. Campers will explore the elements of art and engage in a variety of art-making techniques. 

Each week is designed to put the campers in a safe environment where creativity, expression, innovation, exploration is validated through the process of making artwork.

The small camp size(minimizing COVID exposure risk), individualized  attention and beautiful setting make it possible for every camper to blossom.

Weather permitting classes will take place on our spacious outdoor patio so please send your camper with sun protective gear and sunscreen!

What to bring:

• Healthy lunch and snacks 

• A water bottle with plenty of water

• Comfortable Cloth & Shoes 

• Extra clothing for colorful accident or Extra layers for outdoor time  

• Hat or Sunscreen for outdoor activities

• Medications (Ex: EpiPen) if your camper(s) need it.

• Curiosity with positive attitude 

Please send the camper(s)’s non-refrigerated lunch, snacks and plenty of
water.
Camp is NUT-FREE environment, food items containing any trace of nuts will be confiscated and parents will be notified that they need to provide their child(ren)  with an alternate, nut free, food item such as sun butter, seeds instead of nuts.
