Chef Pam has enjoyed her trips to Portugal and along the way fell in love with the cuisine. In this class we will prepare cider glazed chorizo for our tapas. Then on to our main entrée using salted cod known as bacalhau. The dish we will popular all over Portugal but very special in the Lisbon. Is is called Bacalhau com natas, made with bacalhau, potatoes, garlic and onions with a béchamel sauce and baked in the oven. It is oh so creamy and delicious! To finish off with a little something sweet, we will bake the traditional dessert of Portugal: pastel de nata.
