Ghost & Graveyard Tour: South Route

Join us for Alexandria's Original Ghost & Graveyard Tour!

Follow a Colonial-costumed guide by lantern light through the charming streets of Alexandria’s historic district: Old Town. During this entertaining tour, you’ll hear ghost stories, legends, folklore, unsolved mysteries, tales of romance and angry ghosts looking for revenge. This one hour walking tour covers approximately 6 blocks. 

New for 2020: Choose your own adventure and book either a North or South route tour!

The South Route features stops at The Carlyle House and The Laura Schafer House, home of the terrifying tale of the Burning Bride. At the end, you'll be abandoned at the Old Presbyterian Meeting House cemetery!

Both North and South Route tours depart from the Ramsay House Visitors Center, 221 King Street in Alexandria – only two blocks from the Potomac River.
