Adult Virtual Workshops - Summer Scrafitto

Finally! We can get together (sort of) for an adult workshop! Gather your snacks & beverages (and a friend or two if you have space to social distance outdoors**), and join Karen for this virtual technique workshop from the comfort of your home or yard. Scrafitto, which means “to scratch”, is a versatile technique that works on a variety of pieces.

Sign up here to get into the workshop ($10 fee) then head to our online store at www.paintatallfiredup.com/store to pick out and buy your piece*** & choose paint colors. We will package your kit (includes brushes & incising tool) for curbside pick up prior to the workshop. We will also send you a link to a Google Meet* just for this workshop.

The night of the workshop, Karen will go live on Meet with a demonstration of how to create the fade technique shown as well as how to accomplish the scrafitto effect. Artists will be able to follow along & chat. Scrafitto can be time consuming, so participants should feel free to complete the project on their own time (it’s a great “in front of the tv” activity). When you’re all finished, simply return the piece to the store as you would for any of our to-go options. We’ll fire it, and call you when it’s ready. It is very important to us that our virtual workshops are not just fun, but also have the same level of concern for your privacy as our in-person workshops.
