YOUR VOTIVE WILL BE READY FOR PICK UP IN 2 WEEKS FROM CLASS. 

POTTERY IS CREATED WITH STONEWARE CLAY, KILN FIRED AND MEANT TO LAST A LIFETIME INDOORS OR OUT!

The Art Place Studio’s CLAY hand-building class is the ultimate mindfulness therapy for all that life may throw at you. Perfection is not sought and there is no right or wrong.  Pottery club is all about enjoyment and socializing while being creative.  No prior experience is needed, all projects will be explained, demonstrated and guided throughout the whole process.

Nothing beats the sense of pride and achievement that you will feel from creating your unique hand crafted piece. 
Many different pottery techniques such as hand building, hard slab construction, coiling, pinch pot and soft slab construction will be explained so you can explore what gives you the most satisfaction, enjoyment and sense of empowerment.

Class size is limited to assure everyone has time and space to create their beautiful pottery piece.   Each week an different projects will be introduced.  This workshop is meant to introduce you to new skills in clay building, or build on your current skills. Pinch pot, coiling, slab building and stamped slabs are just a few of the techniques we will be teaching. 

18 and over only please .   
includes 2 hour studio class, clay, tools, instruction, 2 kiln firings and glazes.
