Join a clay drop in with children’s yoga and ceramics teacher. Sabrina will bring the two energies of clay and yoga to create a relaxing, fun and mindful class. Children will learn how to work with clay techniques while enjoying learning about the chakras and different simple yoga philosophies.

Join a clay drop in with children’s yoga and ceramics teacher. Sabrina will bring the two energies of clay and yoga to create a relaxing, fun and mindful class. Children will learn how to work with clay techniques while enjoying learning about the chakras and different simple yoga philosophies.

What You Need to Know:
- Pottery is messy and we recommend that you bring your own towel to cover your lap during the lesson and your own mask due to Covid 19. The clay will wash out of most fabrics. We do provide aprons to cover clothing.
- It can take 1-2 weeks for your pieces to be fired. We will call you when your pieces are ready to be picked up. We will store your pieces for 20 days from the date of notification. If they are not picked up within 20 days we will have to throw them away due to space limitations.
COVID Procedure
A strict protocol has been implemented and we are sticking to government guidelines. The studio has been measured and can fit 6 people max inside. View our protocol online.
The Studio Guidelines
- Temperatures taken before each session and hands will be sanitized.
- Physical distancing enforced both in and outside the studio.
- People will stay at their station for the entire class. We are trying to keep movement within the studio down to a minimum.
- No sharing policy. Individuals will be assigned their own personal station for the duration of the session. This includes the pottery wheel, clay, glazes, and tools.
- Instructors will be required to wear a mask in and outside
Sanitizing Standards
- Bathrooms sanitized after every use.
- Studio cleaned after every session.
- Tools cleaned and disinfected after the workshop.
- Extra hand washing and sanitizing stations throughout the studio.
If you visit the studio Please Note:
- Bring your own drinks and snacks. If you would like to use tap water please bring your own cup, we will not be providing these in the studio.
- Wear your mask. The bathroom is inside, and masks are required.
- Stay home if you are not feeling well or showing any flu like symptoms.
AGE DISCLAIMER:
Here at clay with me we believe “age is just a number”. We recognize and appreciate that maturity levels vary drastically between children and that your child’s age might not be the best indicator of their abilities. If your child wishes to participate in a session but they do
not meet the minimum age requirements, do not fret! We are open to accepting them and would love to help work with you to determine whether or not taking part is the best decision for them.
