COST
$40 workshop fee.
This workshop will enable participants to:
Understand why a traditional face to face lesson doesn’t work online
Learn the importance of planning for PBL online from a pedagogical perspective rather than a technology-driven one
Learn successful online teaching strategies that draw on the individual participants teaching strengths.
Learn the most important aspects of teaching online, and success often depends upon taking the time to plan.
Explore how to build digital literacy capabilities within your students
Review case studies and activities, explore the relationship between different technologies and specific activities
Exam own motivations for PBL online.
Participate in a collegial network (face to face and/or zoom)
Continue as a reflective practitioner regarding what works well, where do you get stuck and where is there potential to improve.
Class Schedule
Formal/Informal Primary Teachers (Two Day Cohort)
Thursday November 12 from 4:30 to 5:30 PM on Zoom
Thursday November 17 from 4:30 to 5:30 PM on Zoom
Self work on application assignment (approximately one hour of work) between the two sessions.
