Handmade on the pottery wheel from pure white & smooth porcelain clay & kiln fired three times at extremely high temperatures for durability. Mix and match with other mug styles to create a unique collection.

Wheel thrown cup decorated with little spots painted by hand with gold lustre and little cat decal walking on a moon hand-made painted with celadon glazes. Natural white porcelain with glossy transparent glaze. This work is triple fired and the gold is real! Throwing lines are clearly  visible and the shapes can be charmingly wobbly. 

Unique Object made from scratch with Canadian raw materials. Hand-Painted using Glazes-Gold and 3 times fired. 

The LUNA CATS collection evokes the love for cats and the admiration for the mystery of the universe. 

The Story behind the inspiration:

This line represents my deep love and admiration for the cosmos and universe. During my childhood I was a spectator of the sky (espectadora del cielo). I spent hours looking up making maps of stars and counting them. I made my own constellation map, and I had a large collection of newspaper clippings from Nasa. 

One day Nasa listed their address and invited people to ask them questions. I decided to write a letter asking a question about my favorite telescope, the Hubble. They responded to my letter and that led to a big conversation.  They sent me pictures from the Hubble and a mock-up of it!  My childhood bedroom was top to bottom wallpaper filled with anything Nasa :)
