Painting Fundamentals (Six Weeks)

In this six week class, students will learn the fundamentals of painting using acrylics on canvas.  We will cover the basics of color mixing, brush management and using glazing mediums.  During the six weeks, students will be able to create a still life, a landscape painting and an animal portrait.  Concepts of composition, light and shadow, foreground and background will all be emphasized.  All materials and instructions are included.  All skill levels are welcome.

For students ages 10*-16.

Late Fall 2019:  THURSDAY afternoons, 4pm-6pm for 6weeks,  November 7 - December 19 (no class Nov. 28).

COST: $240 per 6-week session.
