Description: Nature is an open canvas as we walk outside to find our subject. We will draw plants, animals and bugs that we see along the beautiful Rum River. Observational drawing is a tool that encourages looking closely and recording what you experience. The campers will create a nature sketchbook of their very own and head outside to draw about what they see, hear, smell and wonder. Students will have chance to use pencil, charcoal, pastels and watercolor to create their vision. This camp will be outdoors for entire camp rain or shine and students need to shoes for walking..
