Summer Arts On Fire Virtual Camp Cactus, Clay, & Color Camp
This summer at All Fired Up! we are SOOOO excited to be able to offer Arts On Fire Summer Camps again! This time last year, we had to put our traditional day camps on hold. We were happy to be able to create all new virtual camps and incredibly grateful to the campers who joined us in that adventure, but sad to shelve our grand, in-person plans. This year, we are back to normal…… sort of. We’ll be offering BOTH VIRTUAL AND HYBRID CAMPS! A lot of wonderful things came out of the virtual camp experience. In addition to enabling us to safely serve our camp customers, the virtual format allowed us to reach new friends that might live a little far away for day camps, working families, and kids who for a variety of reasons might prefer camp at home. Also, virtual camps are recorded & therefore available anytime. We’ve learned a lot about how to pack & present virtual camps, but we still miss seeing you in person so this year we’re doing both!
No matter how you attend camp, we recommend that kids wear old clothes for all projects that are not clay or pottery painting. Pre-registration is also recommended as our workshops have become very popular & have been selling out quickly. A NON-REFUNDABLE $50 deposit per child per camp week is due at the time of registration.
Pack your imagination and take a road trip with us without ever leaving the Delaware Valley! This camp is full of the vibrant colors & fun you’d find touring the American Southwest & Mexico. Imagine yourself making stops at Saguaro & Joshua Tree National Parks, and Projects include the CAMP EXCLUSIVE Neato Nicho (bisque & multimedia), Taco Tuesday Tacos (clay), Saguaro String Art (board & string art), Southwestern Sunset Still Life (acrylic on canvas, 16”x20”), and a surprise bonus project. Sketchbook included. The cost is $200 per child for the week. Best for artists aged 5yrs.-15yrs. Because of supervision needs and capacity limits, younger artists may participate VIRTUALLY ONLY. This camp is offered synchronously- BOTH in a virtual format and in-person (sidewalk seating, weather permitting).
* We chose Google Meets after researching (both reading reviews and articles & talking with parents, students, educators, and other business owners) and personally trying out many different platforms. It is very important to us that our virtual workshops are not just fun, but also have the same level of concern for your privacy as our in-person workshops. Google Meets seems to be the best balance of user friendliness and security for a business our size.
