Drop-in  Afternoon - $50/half-day 1-4:00 pm (10% discount for booking 5 or more time slots) -

We camp as a group but will have break-out sessions for campers to delve into techniques that fit their skill level and age.

Description: Every day is an artistic adventure! Campers will learn about art history and bring it to life as we take a survey of the great artistic movements throughout history and bring those moments to life in our studio!

1. Drawing and Sketching: Teach basic drawing techniques, shading, perspective, and creating detailed illustrations.
2. Painting Exploration: Introduce kids to various painting mediums such as watercolors, acrylics, and tempera, allowing them to experiment with different techniques.
3. Mixed Media Adventures: Combine different art materials like paper, fabric, found objects, and paint to create unique mixed media artworks.
4. Sculpture and 3D Art: Teach kids to work with clay, wire, and other materials to create sculptures and 3D art pieces.

6. Collage Creations: Guide kids in creating collages by arranging and layering various materials like magazines, newspapers, and fabrics.
7. Digital Art Exploration
8. Ceramics and Pottery: Teach hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques to create functional and decorative pottery pieces.
9. Textile Art: Explore fabric painting, tie-dye, and fabric collage to create unique textile-based artworks.
10. Nature and Land Art: Use natural materials like leaves, sticks, and rocks to create outdoor art installations and temporary sculptures.
11. Cartooning and Comics: Help kids develop characters, stories, and visual narratives through cartooning and comic book creation.
12. Jewelry Making: Teach kids to design and create their own jewelry using beads, wire, and other materials.
13. Puppetry and Mask Making: Guide kids in designing and crafting puppets and masks for theatrical performances.
14. Mural Art: Collaboratively create murals, allowing kids to work together on a big, impactful art project.

16. Paper Crafts: Explore origami, paper quilling, and other paper-based crafts to create intricate designs.
17. Abstract Art Exploration: Encourage kids to experiment with abstract concepts, shapes, and colors to create expressive artworks.
18. Landscapes and Still Life: Teach kids to depict landscapes and still life scenes using various techniques and mediums.
19. Portraiture: Guide kids in creating portraits, focusing on facial proportions, features, and expressions.
20. Recycled Art: Foster environmental awareness by encouraging kids to create art using recycled materials like cardboard, plastic bottles, and more.

Check the calendar for our field trip days! We will visit a local art museum, art instalations in the community and students will have an opportunity to gain a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to coordinate an art exhibit! Please note that there are no refunds for cancellations and no-shows.

Choose your camp dates carefully!

What to bring: Tackling art history is a tough job but we know our campers are up to the challenge! Please help your camper stay fed and hydrated by sending a snack and a water bottle. Each camper will also need a 9" x 12" sketchbook.
Sketchbooks are available for purchase at the studio for $10.
Other supplies for certain classes will be needed and you can add to the package an extra $50 which will cover all supplies for all classes, or we can give you a list for the class and you are welcome to bring your own supplies
