Session Class: Intro to Portrait Drawing - adult

Learn to draw symmetrical portraits with realistic facial features and tonal values. Instructor Laura Korzon will provide step by step demonstrations and introduce students to basic materials and pencil techniques. After studies and practice, students will create two portraits, one in black and white with graphite pencil and one in color with watercolor pencil and conte. Choose your subjects: self portrait, portrait of loved one, or celebrity. Students will need to provide photos for reference.
