Cocoa & Canvas

Are you looking for something fun to do with your "mini me" but are not sure what to do? Bring them to Kidz Town for Cocoa & Canvas! You and your child(ren) get to sit together and paint a canvas while catching up on what's new in their life and sipping some delicious hot chocolate! This event is great for all ages, but is specifically geared for ages 2 years and up.

When you reserve your spot, make sure to select what type of canvas you'd like per person; we suggest for the very young painters, ages 1-3-ish, that you choose the painters taped canvases. For the rest, if they like coloring pages, I'd select a pre-drawn canvas. To let the imagination or artistic skills run wild, shoot for a blank canvas. 

Some suggestions to prepare for your Cocoa & Canvas experience:

• ​You can arrive prior to the start time of canvas to let the kids play. We suggest doing this, if you can, so that you aren't bringing them in and all they want to do is play but you need them to sit and paint! ;) 

• Have your young painters wear short sleeves, and preferably a "play" shirt. We do provide smocks if needed but if they have long sleeves-even rolled up-they tend to dip in the paint at some point!
• If our class is full there will only be enough chairs for the painters so be prepared to either have your little one sit on your lap or stand behind them to "help"
• We definitely suggest a painters taped canvas for children under the age of 4, so if you would like something special be sure to let us know ($2 charge for specialty canvases) otherwise we will have plenty already done to choose from.

If you want a personalized painters tape canvas or special request for a pre-drawn canvas we now charge $2 for special orders. (Example, if you want your child's initials taped on the canvas) PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU STATE EXACTLY WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE IF YOU CHOOSE THIS OPTION!!! A minimum of 5 participants must be signed up in order for class to commence. If we do not reach 5 we will notify you and either refund your money or reschedule and transfer your money. Refunds will not be given in any other circumstance. Thank you!

Cost: $15 per painter (if you don't paint, you don't pay!)

~Cost includes admission to play from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and canvas to take home! If any siblings want to come to play but not paint they will be admitted at a discounted rate of $5/child. Adults and infants under 1 are always FREE

~You can arrive as early as 5:00 p.m. to let the children play before sitting down to paint, and can stay as late as 8 p.m.
