Pottery Wheel Class Adults
Saturdays, 10am-12pm, No Class Nov 26
Students are taught the fundamentals of centering, wedging, throwing, lifting, trimming on the pottery wheel, as well as glazing. Continuing students receive instructions according to their interest and experience. This session is excellent for beginning and advanced students. $275 includes up to 25 lbs of stoneware clay. Additional clay is $3 per pound and includes all firing. No outside clay.
In order to minimize clay dust and keeping the studio safe, members need to be responsible of keeping tools, equipment, and the work space clean. This means cleaning studio tools and putting them away, cleaning and turning off the pottery wheel, and wiping down work areas, including floor area if applicable.
Studio aprons and towels are not provided, but you may bring your own. Booked session and missed classes are non-refundable. We try to be flexible with make-ups within a session when we have availability.
