Your child has been invited to a Glass Fusing party at Crackpots!
We want to make sure that you understand what that entails so that you can prepare your child for this wonderful experience.
- Glass Fusing parties are reserved for kids who are 10 years and older due to the nature of the
materials being used. For a glass fusing party to be successful, all party participants must be
10 years of age or older and must be doing the glass project chosen by the host. - We will be working with real glass that is broken into bits & pieces with raw edges. One of
our trained Studio Mavens will teach the kids how to handle the glass properly and provide
safety tips, but it is important that each child understands how important it is to follow these
instructions. We don’t want any cuts! We have a great track record, and we want that to
continue!!! All participants must have a waiver signed by their parent/guardian. - Our Studio Maven will be on hand to oversee the group, but may have to leave the room
from time to time to prepare for other parts of the party. - We will not be cutting glass in the party. Kids will create using bits and pieces of glass that
are already be broken and will be challenged to get creative with their arrangements… you’ll
be amazed at what they come up with! - Kids will glue each piece onto a base piece of glass determined by the party hosts.
- After the party, their creations will be fuse fired in our kilns and picked up by the host of the
party to deliver to you.
