Description:
You know the great thing about kids? They aren't afraid to let their creativity shine! In fact, they welcome the opportunity to delve into sculpting, take a crack at acrylics, and develop a keen eye for color, composition, and design all while creating beautiful pieces of art.
Nurturing a child's natural artistic inclination does more than fill the front of your fridge with one-of-a-kind masterpieces. It also builds self-esteem as young ones learn to analyze and problem-solve. When kids are given the chance to try out their own ideas, and then make changes based on what they want the result to be, they develop confidence. Confidence that bleeds into their social, academic, athletic, and artistic pursuits.
In this five-day camp, your budding artist will learn to cut glass, paint with acrylics, draw, sculpt with paper mache, and create mixed media projects. Guided by our own educator artists, each camper creates a portfolio worthy of display in your own living room art show. Parents and campers alike agree that this unique program is an ideal blend of fine arts education and creative fun.
What to bring:
Becoming the next Leonardo DiVinci is hard work! Please help your camper stay fed and hydrated by sending along a snack, lunch, and water bottle. We have Friday covered with an extra special pizza party as we complete our masterpieces!
Sketch Book- every morning we start the day with a drawing activity. Please send your child with a sketch book & pencil crayons or add-on below one of our drawing kits!
Please avoid packing nuts of all kinds and in all forms to keep our campers with allergies safe.
