Adults Spring 2 2024 session: Thursday Porcelain Classes

Thursday evening classes will be working with porcelain clay. Porcelain is a pure white and soft clay body and requires a spotless working environment in order to retain it's purity. For this reason we are only offering this class on Thursdays as we scrub down the studio after our messy kids class ends in the afternoon. We ask that students commit to using wet porcelain during class time only for the same reason. Trimming and glazing during open hours is allowed as long as trimmings and recycling is done properly. This and of all of our classes focus on wheel throwing techniques and accommodate skill levels from beginners to very advanced. Our small group size ensures individual guidance. Various throwing projects, glazing and surface techniques will be explored in all of the classes.
When registering for a pottery class, please choose the class day and time that best fits your schedule for the entire session. Scroll down to find out about our missed class makeup policy and firing fees. This class fee is slightly higher because the cost of porcelain clay is higher.

Spring 2 Session:
8 Weeks  $550.00 (includes $25 in firing fees, any additional fees due at the end of the session. Any unused fees will not carry over to next session).
