First Friday Opening Reception: Glass

About the artists

Jamie Adams studied glassblowing at Jacksonville University under Brian Frus graduating with a BFA in Glass in 2012. A Macon Native, she moved back to Georgia where she is now the Fine Art Director at The 567 Center for Renewal and continuing her practice in glass and other media. Recently her glass work has concentrated on life and death with a study of nature inspired forms like floral and plant pairings with animal skulls.

Brian Frus is an artist, designer, educator, tech, and gallerist who has specialized with glass for over 25 years. He enjoys projects working with people who want custom and unique interior design, lighting, public art, awards, and sculpture. Professor Frus retired from academia in 2021 to become a Maine based artist and gallery owner, where he continues to create and educate about glass art. Learn more at www.BrianFrus.com
