Art Journaling

In this 4-week class, adults will tap into their creative side as they learn to create an art journal using ink, collage, watercolor, and lettering. Artist Casie Trace will lead this class.
Week 1 Painting Paper - Learn different painting techniques as you create colorful pages that will become the background for your journaling.
Week 2 Doodling - Express yourself by doodling on your journal pages as you experiment with ink pens, markers, and colored pencils.
Week 3 Lettering - Learn how incorporate hand lettering into your journal and make the words come to life.
Week 4 Collaging - Add layers of personal touches to your journal pages with photos and other found materials.

The cost for the class is $90 for members, $110 for non-members and includes all supplies except the sketchbook. Students should purchase a mixed media journal before coming to class. The class will meet on Tuesdays, 6:00-8:00 pm, starting July 12.
