Camp Preview Day SUMMER ART CAMP Newtown

Discover, explore, create and have fun at Art Dept. Studios Summer Art Camps. We offer small class sizes, a wide variety of mediums, and theme-based curriculum newly developed for each summer! We study many famous artists throughout the summer and experiment with their unique styles. Summer Art Camp is designed for children 6 - 12 years old.

MORNING SESSION: 9:00 am-11:30 am

Mornings are all about CLAY! Campers try the Pottery Wheel (twice per week) and various clay hand building techniques (pinch, coil &
slab) to make a variety of theme-based projects! 

AFTERNOON SESSION: 12:30 pm-3:00 pm

Afternoons are about exploring all the multimedia projects we offer which can include fused glass, mosaics, pottery painting techniques,
watercolor and acrylic painting, beading, mixed media sculptures, drawing skills, color theory and much more!
