Accent Lamp-Making Workshop

Details:

In the first part of the workshop, you'll learn the basic components of a small accent lamp. From there, you will design your lamp and begin the making process either by hand-building a form or creating a wheel-thrown form. Experience on the wheel is necessary if you want your lamp form to be wheel-thrown. No experience is necessary if you want to hand-build your lamp.
 
Between the two sessions, you'll have access to the studio during a Lab time to glaze-finish your form. Labs are Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and pre-registration is required. Click here to sign up for a Lab.

For the second part of the workshop, you will have your finished form and learn to assemble your lamp, including a bulb and lamp shade!

*Materials included: 8lbs of clay, glaze and firing, and all required lamp parts.
